Summer… festival time!

Here are the festivals planned for the summer

The festival period begins with the beginning of summer. Sport, fun, and adventure await you in the South Tyrolean Dolomites! In the villages, valleys, and peaks around your Leitlhof holiday hotel you can breathe summer air in every corner, both at altitude and in the valley, while admiring street performers. Be inspired by our overview of the most beautiful and characteristic festivals of the summer…

Dolorock – the climbing festival in the Dolomites

The Dolorock Climbing Festival is a popular meeting place for climbers from everywhere. The Three Peaks Dolomites ski area is transformed into a lively discussion table on topics related to climbing and mountaineering. In addition to a cultural evening, a debate, and a climbing competition, the festivities can not be missed. The Dolorock Festival also includes a program dedicated entirely to children.

Adventure Outdoor Fest

Slackline, highline, parkour… More and more new (and imaginative) sports are emerging. Fun and movement in the form of play as well as the right dose of adrenaline become the main protagonists. In addition to the most popular sports, the Adventure Outdoor Fest program also includes hiking, trail running, climbing and bouldering, mountain biking, and yoga. Guided programs and courses as well as exciting demonstrations await you.

OLALA International festival of street artists – 26/7/2019

Mountains in South Tyrol

Impressive Dolomites

At the end of July, the streets of Innichen are invaded by colours and surprising acrobatics during the OLALA International Street Artists Festival! Groups of different nationalities animate the pedestrian area of Innichen with their performances. Do not miss a moment of this rich program of art, acrobatics, comedies, and street music.

Musical festivals in South Tyrol

South Tyrol is a must-see for those who love music. Did you know that Gustav Mahler spent several summers in the Pustertal to compose his works? In his honour, Gustav Mahler Music Weeks, an internationally renowned music festival, is organised each summer. If classical music is your greatest passion, you can not miss the Alto Adige Festival, during which the Grand Hotel in Toblach hosts a series of concerts, with works by Mahler and other well-known classical music artists. Jazz and experimental music await you at the Südtirol Jazzfestival Alto Adige, with over 50 concerts in 18 towns. Jazz concerts are held during the first week of July.

Would you like your dream holiday to be filled with art and culture as well as a spectacular alpine landscape? If the answer is yes, send your request to Hotel Leitlhof!
