From the 12th to the 13th of September 2009 there is the farmer’s market in the center of San Candido, where you can buy typical products and you can also taste specialties of the region. During the week you can visit a farm, a mill and you can participate also at a course of cooking. Traditional days in San Candido
Museumobil Card: museums, trains and buses with one ticket
A new offer for guests interesting in culture: the museumobil card. The card combines the South-Tyrol-wide travel card and the admission to South Tyrols’s museums. Holders of this card can explore 82 museums and use public transport for three or seven days. So you can, comfortable, start with train or bus in San Candido and visit for example the Museum of local traditions in Teodone, the castle of Tures or the museum of Rudolf Stolz. The card costs 16,- Euro for 3 days and 22,- Euro for 7 days (adults).
FIS Skicross World Cup
The winter in San Candido starts with a lot of adrenalin. From the 21st to the 22nd of December 2009 San Candido will host two FIS Skicross Worldcup races. About 200 athletes will fight for world cup points and for the participation to the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver 2010. An ideal highlight to spend some days before Christmas in the Panorama Hotel Leitlhof.
